Art Photography

I was given my camera by my grandparents when I was 18 just before I went travelling and since then it has never left my side.  I love the spontaneity of photography, the capturing of a fleeting moment, a brief glimpse of another life as it passes.  My work expresses movement and lightness, and a natural, unstructured feel.

My photographs are very honest - I do not strive for posed images, nor do I like to change my work on the computer.  I believe that the art of photography is in taking the photograph with the camera there and then, to record a split second in time, rather than editing it afterwards to crop it, change exposure and create artistic effects. ‘
